Academia publications should maintain a functional and smart tone of voice.
These documents sit in line with academic papers, and are research orientated.
We recommend a minimal colour palette, to ensure the reader focuses on the text heavy content.

Technical publications are shorter publications, with a Background/ Methodology/ Findings/ Conclusion format. Whilst still functional, it can include imagery, quotes, tables and graphs.
This publication type can include more brand elements, but stripped back to allow for the content to remain a priority.
This may include waterlet composition headers and a minimal use of graphic elements – such as textures and gradients from the IWMI secondary colour palette.

The templates contain master pages covering internal layouts, and front and back covers. There are also the IWMI colour swatches and publication type styles included.
A supporting PDF guide is also available to download, this document will give you additional details and guidance on our IWMI templates.
